School Improvement Plan

2025-26

Goal 1

By June 2026, students in Grades 3–5 will improve English performance on the Virginia Standards of Learning assessment by demonstrating the following:

  • Increase overall pass rate from 83% to 90%
  • Increase pass rate by at least 17 percentage points for students in the reporting category of Students with Disabilities (SWDs)
  • Reduce achievement gap for students in the reporting categories of Black, Multilingual Learners and Economically Disadvantaged by at least 10 percentage points
  •  Increase Pass Advanced pass rate by 5 percentage points

Goal 2

By June 2026, the percentage of students in Grades K–2 falling in the High-Risk band according to the Spring VALLSS assessment will not exceed 10%.

Goal 3

By June 2026, students in Grades 3–5 will improve Math performance on the Virginia Standards of Learning assessment by demonstrating the following:

  • Increase overall pass rate from 83% to 90%
  • Increase pass rate by at least 25 percentage points for students in the reporting category of Students with Disabilities (SWDs)
  • Reduce achievement gap for students in the reporting categories of Black, Multilingual Learners and Economically Disadvantaged by at least 10 percentage points
  • Increase Pass Advanced pass rate by 5 percentage points

Goal 4

By June 2026, students in Grades 3–5 will improve Science performance on the Virginia Standards of Learning assessment by demonstrating the following:

  • Increase overall pass rate from 83% to 90%
  • Increase pass rate by at least 18 percentage points for students in the reporting category of Students with Disabilities (SWDs)
  • Increase pass rate by at least 31 percentage points for students in the reporting category of Black
  • Reduce achievement gap for students in the reporting categories of Multilingual Learners, and Economically Disadvantaged by at least 10 percentage points
  • Increase Pass Advanced pass rate by 5 percentage points

Goal 5

By June 2026, students will improve grade 4 Virginia Studies by 5 percentage points for an SOL pass rate increase from 82% to 87% mastery on the Virginia Studies Standards of Learning assessment, with a 5 percentage point increase in the number of students achieving a pass advanced score
