We are excited to celebrate the artistic achievements of our talented Coventry students at the Yorktown Arts Festival. This annual event showcases student creativity from across York County, and we are proud to recognize several of our young artists who earned honors in their categories.

The awards ceremony was held on May 7 at the Yorktown Freight Shed, where students were recognized for their outstanding work. The following Coventry students received awards for their age group and category:

Emmy Huynh – 1st place, 3D art, grades 3-5
Hattie Lewis – 3rd place, 3D art, grades 3-5
Mila Anderson – honorable mention, 2D art, grades 3-5
Bella Oh – 2nd place, 2D art, grades K-2

Our art teacher, Mrs. Turek, shared how proud she is of all Coventry artists. She noted that it was very difficult to select just a few pieces to represent our school, as York County is filled with incredibly talented students.

Congratulations to these award-winning artists, and thank you to all of our students who continue to express themselves through creativity and hard work.
