Month of the Military Child April is designated as the Month of the Military Child. We look forward to celebrating and honoring our military students and parents! Purple Up Day is Wednesday, April 16, 2025. “Purple Up! For Military Kids” is observed to show support for military connected students. YCSD would like for every student AND staff member to wear purple to show support and appreciation. Purple is chosen because it represents the blending of all military colors.
