Month of the Military Child: Honoring Our Heroes at Home

Throughout the Month of the Military Child, our school took time to recognize and celebrate the incredible students who are part of military families. Earlier in the month, students participated in a special spirit week filled with themed days that showed support, appreciation, and pride for our military-connected classmates.
One of the highlights of the month was our Military Family Breakfast, which welcomed military students and their parents for a meaningful time together. The breakfast included an America’s White Table display, reminding everyone of the sacrifices made by service members and honoring those who serve and those who are missing in action. Families enjoyed time to connect and reflect in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Following the breakfast, the celebration continued with a Military Family Parade through the halls of the school. Students proudly walked alongside their military parents as staff and classmates cheered them on, creating a powerful moment of recognition and gratitude throughout the building.
To further honor our military-connected students, each received a certificate of recognition in appreciation of their strength, adaptability, and contributions to our school community.
We are grateful to our military families for their service and sacrifice, and we are proud to celebrate our military students not just this month, but all year long.
